About Epsilon Lambda Sigma Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter
The Epsilon Lambda Sigma (ELS) Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been serving the Greater Cincinnati community for over 40 years! ELS was chartered on November 1, 1980 by five resolute women: Zakiya El-Amin (Mc Kinney), Venita Brown, E. Kathleen Cooke, Debry Dale and Marcia Futel. The chapter was developed to continue Sigma Gamma Rho’s vision towards “Greater Service, Greater Progress” in the community.
Today, the members of ELS work diligently to execute programs and initiatives that impact our society educationally, civically and economically. The members of ELS would like to thank all those in the community that have continued to support our efforts to make an impact in the greater Cincinnati area for more than 40 years. Organizations, businesses and individuals have continuously donated their time and financial support to assist us with being successful in our community service endeavors. We look forward to another 40 years of serving the community with your support as we can not do this without you!
