Given the escalating severity of COVID-19 outbreak, the E. Kathleen Cooke Foundation Board of Directors is rescheduling the Luncheon from Saturday, April 18, to Saturday, November 7, 2020.This event is to honor women within the Cincinnati community for their unheralded service in education, business, entrepreneurship, advocacy, civic leadership, and social justice.
The Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.enjoyed an amazing evening on the Ohio River on the Belle of Cincinnati. It was full of great vibes in our finest white attire with live entertainment from one of the hottest bands in the midwest, Premium Blend on one level and DJ Vader on another level spinning and a night of dancing under the stars.
The Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter joined together in the fight to end premature birth this week. The March for Babies is held yearly with the proceeds going to fund March of Dimes research to prevent premature births, birth defects and infant mortality and ELS is always there supporting for the cause!
On Saturday, March 9th, Epsilon Lambda Sigma hosted the Annual Youth Symposium – "TOOLS OF EMPOWERMENT" Partnering with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., this year’s event exposed close to 150 participants to STEM, financial literacy, healthy living and interacting with authorities along with give-a-ways from gift cards to tablets.
The Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.enjoyed an amazing evening of networking with sisters and friends during a 5 course meal at the Art of Entertaining. This event was in support of scholarships for the E. Kathleen Cooke Scholarship program. For more information go to the Scholarships page.
The Epsilon Lambda Sigma,Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority held our Spring 2018 Open House focused on building "A Partnership for a Brighter Cincinnati". Partnering with our Affiliates - Philos and Rhoers, as well as our Undergraduate Chapters, we showcased service to the community as well as opportunities to become involved in a partnership focused on creating a "Brighter Cincinnati".
Epsilon Lambda Sigma hosted a private screening of Marvel's Black Panther at the Kenwood Theatre. We had a packed house as attendees enjoyed breakfast along with the Black Panther movie! We had a great time with family and friends!
